GLOBALFRONT INTERNATIONAL SDN. BHD. was established by Dato Low Kok Thai in 2018 after he sold his London-listed company Galasys Plc to Shiji Information, a subsidiary of Alibaba Group.

Includes investment of private universities of Malaysia (currently working with Pahang government), services for students to conduct an overseas study into Malaysia, Investment in Malaysia Programme for the student’s parents and etc.

PPTMC

The Malaysia-China Higher Education Exchange Association is a non-profit education association jointly established by Malaysian celebrities and related companies . There are 7 founding members . The association focuses on establishing cooperative relations with the Chinese education field, so that both parties can exchange in academic and educational aspects in the future so as to provide the best education platform for the people of both parties. In addition, the association also hopes to use this platform to promote friendly relations between the two countries.

Chinese and Malay Traditional Herbs and Medical research and development

Bring in China investors to study, R&D on Chinese and Malay traditional herbs and medical to plant in tropical climate, we wish to build Malaysia as the world center of herbs and medical research and planting, which will create hundreds of thousand jobs to the rular areas.

Dato Low Kok Thai (Dato KTLow)

Founder and Major Shareholder

Dato Low Kok Thai (Dato KTLow) is 51 years old and founded Globalsoft (MSC) Sdn Bhd in 1997 as the major shareholder. In 2004, he went to Suzhou in China to further develop his business and established Globalsoft Suzhou Co. Ltd in 2005. In 2009, Globalsoft Suzhou merged with HiGalaxy (Beijing) and Bimbit (MSC) Sdn Bhd which was then renamed to Galasys Global (Suzhou) Co. Ltd.

Dato’ Low graduated from Campbell University US in 1993 and worked in Patimas Berhad, the largest software company in Malaysia providing ERP software outsourcing for Computer Associates US. He was a part of the global team in the company, mainly dealing with millennium bugs.

Upon Globalsoft’s founding, the company initially focused on ERP and ticketing system solutions. Dato’ Low led more than hundreds of ERP project development and implementations and was even invited by the Malaysian government to write and set up ERP standard procedures for small and medium enterprises. Globalsoft was also the major ticketing system supplier in the Malaysian market. In 2003, Globalsoft (MSC) Sdn Bhd was listed on Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange and by the year 2008, the listed company shares were sold.

Afterward, Dato’ Low decided to focus on the ticketing business in China. Under his leadership, Galasys completed a fully integrated ticketing system combining both software systems and hardware devices, making Galasys one of the world’s top ticketing system suppliers. In the year 2010, Galasys entrusted Hong Kong venture capital, Netrove, for the listing process. On 12th May 2015, Galasys was listed on London Stock Exchange.

Galasys provide total ticketing solutions to customers, like Chime Long Group, OCT Group, Wanda Group and etc. In China theme parks industry, Galasys occupy about 80% of the market shares. Important Customers as follows:

Galasys does not only provide ticketing admission control systems but also provides B2B e-commerce platform, link up e-payments like Alipay and Wechat pay, 2D barcode tickets with SMS features, settlement center for online and offline transactions, Cloud Online Travel System and etc.; System also links to hardware like turnstiles, lockers, auto vending machine, top-up machine and etc. The admission media is not just 1D or 2D barcode, but also National ID card, member card, city transportation card, biometrics, mobile phone, and wristband.

In 2018, Dato’ Low established Globalfront International Sdn Bhd to provide a full range of services for students who wish to study in Malaysia, hoping to help Malaysia become the first choice for overseas studies in the Southeast-Asia region. High-tech concepts practiced by Dato’ Low in China are brought back into Malaysia for implementation to help develop Malaysia as the center for high-tech research and development. There are also plans to reach out and introduce Malaysia to the parents of international students in hopes to attract them to invest in the country. By bringing in foreign investment, it will assist in revitalizing the nation’s economy.

Datin Kuong Mei Lin

Finance Manager

Datin Kuong Mei Lin, 43 years old, is an LCCI higher diploma holder from Systematic College (SEGi). Her career started in 1997 with Cactus Technology Sdn Bhd. Datin Kuong has been married to Dato’ Low Kok Thai since the year 1999.

Datin Kuong later became the finance manager at Global Soft Sdn Bhd, a company founded by her husband, Dato’ Low. The company was listed in 2003 at the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (AIM board) and was renamed Global Soft Berhad.

In 2005, she was transferred to Suzhou to help the company expand its global network. As the director and CFO, she was pivotal in the management of Global Soft (Suzhou) Co. Ltd. During her time in China (2004-2012), she successfully expanded into 8 branches; Global Soft Beijing R&D Centre, Quanzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu, to name a few.

Throughout her career, she was involved in the merger between Bimbit (MSC) Sdn Bhd and HiGalaxy Beijing Co. Ltd renamed as Galasys (Suzhou) Co. Ltd. When the company was bought over by Shiji Information, a subsidiary of Alibaba Group, in 2016, Datin Kuong resigned from her position and took a sabbatical leave. In 2019, she and Dato’ Low founded Globalfront International Sdn Bhd and Wawasan Education Hub Sdn Bhd.
